The QMIS qualifications can also provide excellent pathways to further study. QMIS students will gain direct credit transfer to higher QANTM College courses for competent unit results.

Further study can include:

• Diploma of Multimedia
• Diploma of Screen

A successful Diploma qualification can then lead to credit transfers for some units in the QANTM Degree programs.

For Queensland schools, QMIS unit results can be included on the current Senior Certificate and in future, will assist students in gaining credit towards the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

Other benefits of a QMIS qualification include:

• Nationally recognised qualifications
• No enrolment fee for further study at QANTM College
• Bypass QTAC by direct application to QANTM College
• No OP required (some conditions apply)

The certificate courses also offer potential entry-level employment opportunities such as traineeships within the various multimedia and related industries.
